Noor-e-Shifa Foundation is a registered non-profit organization under Section 42 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), dedicated to transforming lives and building resilient communities across Pakistan. Evolving from the strong legacy of the SHIFA Eye Foundation, our journey began with a focused mission — to provide free and accessible eye care to the underserved.
Over time, our vision has grown broader and deeper, expanding into a comprehensive approach to community development that addresses multiple dimensions of human well-being.
Today, Noor-e-Shifa Foundation works across Basic Healthcare, Quality Education, and Sustainable Livelihoods, with a continued passion for vision health as a life-changing service. Our programs are designed to tackle both immediate needs and long-term challenges, ensuring that individuals and communities have the tools, opportunities, and support to thrive.
It gives me immense pride and humility to present the vision and mission of Noor-e-Shifa Foundation—an organization born out of a deep desire to uplift and empower the most underserved members of our society.
For over a decade, I have had the privilege to serve communities through health-focused initiatives, particularly in eye care. These experiences revealed a greater need—one that extends beyond healthcare and into the realms of education, livelihood, and human dignity. Noor-e-Shifa Foundation is established to address these very gaps through a holistic, inclusive, and community-driven approach.
Our foundation is committed to transforming lives by promoting equitable access to quality education, ensuring basic healthcare, and fostering economic empowerment. We operate with a clear understanding that development must be people-centered and locally owned, while being guided by global best practices and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
